I have kept a journal for years, although this is my first foray into the DW world. Originally I planned to write just for myself, but on second thoughts I prefer the idea of connecting with others. I hope I will be able to do that here!
So, to begin: I am twenty six years old, from Australia. When all is said and done, I'm really quite lousy at most things but I do try hard! My life would be empty without writing. I am also a belly dancer of sorts, and have performed at restaurants and in car parks and also on the good old-fashioned stage. To my mind, the movement of the dance itself is quite beautiful, and I immediately fell in love with all the glitter and sparkle of the costumes.
I also swim, drink a lot of wine and assorted spirits, visit graveyards and view books as friends that live on my shelf. I have visited seventeen countries over my lifetime and hope to travel again soon (time and finances allowing).
Through this journal, I would really like to meet some interesting people. I tend to write about my thoughts and my life, and want to read about the thoughts and lives of others. I will add most people, and will not be offended if people decide to remove me because we don't click. Life is too short to read journals that are not of interest to you, and ideally, I want to make friends here. It would seem weird to write such personal things, and not even be friends with the people reading.
